RRC Polytech has purchased two properties next to their Exchange District Campus (EDC).
In an email bulletin sent to RRC Polytech staff this morning, the college said they have purchased 330 Elgin Ave and 340 Elgin Ave.
The bulletin goes on to say that “RRC Polytech staff and contractors will enter the buildings regularly over the coming weeks and months to conduct tests and assessments necessary to determine next steps.”
Back in November of 2025, 330 Elgin Ave, a self-storage facility, was put up for sale. At the time, a RRC Polytech spokesperson said they had no information about their interest in the property.
RRC Polytech also mentioned in the bulletin that Security Services, along with the Downtown Community Safety Partnership, will monitor the buildings to “ensure our campus community remains safe and secure.”
